What is Dubli?
Dubli claims to be the the world’s largest e-commerce direct selling company.
The idea behind it is that it creates a group of retailers in one large online shopping mall, and in return for the increased traffic that that should bring them, the retailers give %discounts to the customers.
In order to get there discounts, customers can join on three levels:
- Free – Discounts range from 0.2% to around 6.5%
- Premium – $4.95/month. Discounts are slightly more
- VIP – $99/year. Discounts range from 0.9% to 15%*
They claim that some discounts are up to 70%, but the highest one I found was 24% and that was for a motor bike! Most tend to be around 6-9%.
So far so good?
You probably think that sounds quite good.
Well, let’s see.
What they don’t say is that you are not able to withdraw any cashback, which is held on their site, until you have accumulated at least $25.
The cashback is only paid to you when the retailers have given it to Dubli, and this can take quite a time, if it happens at all. And if Dubli should decide not to pay you, as happened to some members, then there is nothing you can do to get that money back. I have heard of one member who was owed over $K1 and Dubli refused to pay it!
Dubli Affiliate Network
1st level Cost – around $599 plus $99/month.
In order to be an affiliate at all, you are required to buy a position as Team Member.
At that point you are asked to find at least three other team members to join at the same price, which you certainly need to do if you are to begin to get your money back. You get a 5% bonus on their joining fee.
2nd level Cost – around $2000 plus $99/month
When you have got three team members, you become a Team Leader.
You could also buy yourself into this position at the start, at the price shown above, when you will become a TLA. You will almost certainly find that the person who recruited you will strongly encourage you to start at this level in order to get their larger bonus!
You do not have to pay the $99/month if you have 20 or more customers at the top VIP level each paying $99/month.
Next levels
When you have recruited three members who also become Team Leaders, then you progress to the next level, with a $15% bonus, and so it goes on. At these levels you also get paid for everyone who joins below you.
So your whole business is founded on finding more and more members, and if you don’t want to bother with finding customers then you pay the $99/month.
Is this MLM? Of course it is.
The people at the top are entirely dependent on the people below them
growing their businesses. If no-one recruits members, no one gets paid.
Is this Pyramid Selling? What do you think?
Well, who gets the most?
And where does that money come from?
Danger signals
- If you are asked for any money, let alone a large amount like this, in order to become an affiliate, be very careful! There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of affiliate programs online that you can join at absolutely NO cost at all.
- If the selling of products appears to be less important than recruiting people below you, steer clear.True Affiliate marketing puts all the emphasis on products. You may get a small extra commission for referring people, but that is not a reason to join them.
- If you are expected to pay to join a cashback site, there is no need to do so. There are many cashback sites which you can join for free.
- Be very careful who you trust when someone comments an “opportunity ” to you. Sadly, very often the people we trust turn out be be just looking out for themselves, and really don’t care about you so long as they get their commission from your investment!
Always check online for independent reviews about anything that you are considering joining. Those written by the company will never give you any information that is detrimental to them.
Would I recommend Dubli?
You have probably guessed the answer to that question!
I have personally spoken with a number of people who were persuaded to become an affiliate by someone they thought they could trust, and who have ended up losing over $2000, never making a penny!
So in my opinion, Dubli can only be described as a big fat
Of course, this is just my opinion based on my personal experience, and I would beg you to do your own due diligence and make up your own mind about it. All I can say is that is is extremely inadvisable to join any business without thoroughly doing your own research first.
I do hope that this will help you to avoid getting caught by any scam.

i make last month $900 with Dubli
i think this page is scam not dubli .
I am so happy that YOU Have managed to make money with Dubli, you are definitely one of the very few lucky ones!
So many people have lost a good deal of money with the, myself included. I would never have written this article if I had not had evidence of this, and I assure you that I would never attempt to scam anyone, what would be the point?!? I am just trying to make people aware of the fact that the majority of people seem to lose money with this firm, and only a very few make money.
How many people do you know who have made money, apart from yourself?
Hi there 🙂 i just felt the need to speak my mind since i might disagree a bit with you in the “dubli dont pay out your money part”.
Popular brands are on the website, the cashback system is working. And yes.. It takes up to 60 days before you can withdraw your money – but so what? If Dubli was to pay you right away, you would just send the products right back to the merchant which then would repay you the amount spend. Then the shops would close because they would still have to pay dubli for the cashback you withdraw.
The system is therefore build around the 60 days concept so that the merchants do not pay out cashback for items that will be returned.
Personally i have saved a lot of money through dubli and just recently i have chosen to help others save money by becoming a business associate (Team member).
So if you can wait 60 days for FREE cashback, then you should go to http://www.globalshopping.dk and make a free account (Im from Denmark and therefore my personal dublilink is “.dk”).
Hi Mickel
I am speaking from my own personal experience, and from considerable research online, where I found so very many Dubli Affiliates saying the same thing – that they do not get the money which they are owed. This also happened to me, as I have said. I have never received a penny from them, in spite of having invested quite heavily an Affiliate.
I would never again join any Affiliate program which required me to make an investment – that is almost always a sign of a scam. There are so very many Affiliate programs out there which do not ask for Affiliate investment, and those ar the ones that I would recommend.
I hope that you will prove to be an exception, and I wish you good luck
Chrissie 🙂
You’ll get nothing out of Dubli !!!! I know. They changed their business from online bidding (like QBid) to the business venue presented. You’ll lose $1000’s, earned or otherwise.
Absolutely Naja, there is no doubt that it is a scam!!
Anyone who wants to make money online would do far better to go through the training at Wealthy Affiliate, which will teach you the correct way to go about it without charging you the earth!!
Very many thanks for your input 🙂
I have joined dubli and I have made money what the hell you guys are talking about lol? and by saying that you don’t receive any peny that’s unrealistic man
I think you will find that you are very much in the minority!
If you have made money then I am very pleased for you.
Many people I have spoken to have lost $1000s, myself included
so I do know what I am talking about.
I hope that you have received the money that you have made, and that
Dubli are not sitting on it.
People would be much better off learning the right and ethical way
of making money online through the training in Wealthy Affiliate, and not making money off the backs of people who are losing money.
Many thanks for your point of view.
Never heard of this company (scam) but you put out some good info here. Hopefully it will helps others from falling prey and throwing their money down the virtual toilet. Great post.
Many thanks Dave. I am very happy that you have never come into contact with this company! It is a total scam, and I hope we can all try to work together to alert people to such scams.
I wish that I could spread this information to everyone!!
This was a great post.
Heard about Dubli from a friend the other day and she was saying how promising it sounded.
Like I told her, which you also confirmed, it sounds like a big fat scam lol.
Thanks for confirming my suspicions. Nothing about this sounds legit and my friend better stay as far away from this as possible.
Many thanks for your comments Shane, you are so right about it being a scam.
I am so pleased you gave your friend good advice 🙂
Interesting article. Now, this keeps us informed about Dubli. Those membership fees are ridiculous! What makes it worse is that they would hold on to your earnings. Whoever actually makes a research first about their compensation plan and company background would immediately suspect this. Obviously a scam in my opinion.
Thank your your comments Dredd, I completely agree, it is a scam! Definitely best to avoid it!! 🙂
